Introduction
PACER Data Collection is an agency focused on providing health science market researcher and small business owners with a data collection management & support resource. Our services include locating and securing sample (respondents from a representative or target audience) for our client’s research activities.
In order to increase control and offer our clients another sample source option, PACER Data Collection has decided to build and maintain two unique and valuable access panels, or respondent databases. The first is a database consisting of physicians practicing medicine in the United States. The second is consumer database where the panelists are recruited from a narrowly-focused geographic area.
PACER Data Collection pledges to maintain the privacy o its panel members. Below is a complete description of our Privacy Policy and how we handle your personally identifiable information. This policy applies to both the physician and consumer panels.
General Privacy Policy Statement
PACER Data Collection is highly sensitive to the privacy interests of consumers and believes that the protection of those interests is one of its most significant responsibilities. In acknowledgment of its obligations, PACER Data Collection has adopted the following Privacy Policy applicable to information about consumers that it acquires in the course of its business:
Acquisition of Information
We do not acquire any more information about consumers than is required by law or is otherwise necessary to provide a high level of service efficiently and securely. Our reason for collecting identifiable information about you (name, address, phone number, etc.) is to establish the information required to issue honoraria checks due when respondents complete a survey and provide adequate customer support services. The demographic (age, race, income, etc…) and behavioral (purchases, interests, etc…) information collected during the registration process and as part of individual surveys is collected so that PACER Data Collection can better target the panel members eligible for particular studies.
Our Employees and Privacy
We train all of our employees about the importance of privacy. We give access to information about consumers only to those employees who require it to perform their jobs.
Disclosure to Third Parties
We will provide individually-identifiable information about consumers to third parties only if we are compelled to do so by order of a duly-empowered governmental authority or we have the express permission of the physician or consumer.
Privacy and Our Business Partners
When we make our technology or services available to business partners, we will not share with them any more consumer information than is necessary and we will make every reasonable effort to assure, by contract or otherwise, that they use our technology and services in a manner that is consistent with this Privacy Policy. |
